1. Misted Double Glazing
A foggy appearance between the two panes that cannot be wiped away. This happens when the seal around the glass unit fails, typically after 15 to 20 years, allowing moisture between the panes.
We replace the sealed glass unit, not the whole window. Your existing frame stays in place. Drilling and drying services offered by some companies are temporary. The moisture always returns.
2. Faulty Locks and Handles
Stiff handles, locks that will not engage, and keys that no longer turn smoothly. Caused by general wear, dirt, and lack of lubrication. On doors, a dropped frame can put the lock out of alignment.
We carry replacement locks, handles, and cylinders on our vans. Most replacements completed on the first visit in under an hour. For doors, we adjust alignment first as this often solves the problem without replacing the lock.
3. Draughty Windows and Doors
